I used the "Storytime" Kit(July/August)from Inspired to Scrap to create a dress-shaped mini album to record Emma's 7th year...there are no pics in it yet because I'll wait until next March to put in my very favorite pics from the year. Things like losing her first tooth (May), her 7th birthday (April), etc. I used my cutter to cut the dress shape (from PigTails Paper Trails) out of kraft cardstock, and then I cut out the patterned paper dress by hand, and put a piece of chipboard between the front and back facing pages to make it sturdy. This album was soo much fun to make and the kit made it easy with all of the coordinating materials. (I added a few embellies from my stash and the ribbon).
This was such a fun project! I have some of the boy-themed papers left from the kit...I may see if I can make a boy's themed album...Jacob's 13th birthday is tomorrow so now would be a great time to have it ready to record his 13th year..hmmm...off to play!
