These are sooo much fun to play with! This little mini-album is just what we made in our class...it was waay cool to play with the lace paper (KI Memories) and the transparencies. (I haven't finished my cover yet...)
You can stamp on transparencies (the plain ones from the office store...we were using ones for a copy machine...but I know there are ones that are designed to go through your ink jet printer...I've not tried them yet... they also come in thicker weights, so keep that in mind when selecting them for your project...). You have to use StazOn inks (and they come in lots of colors besides black!). The daisy below with the purple center was made using a dab of paint...I stamped it, cut it out and then put a dab of paint on the area I wanted to be purple and put it down on the transparency sheet. After it dries, I plan on cutting it out again and bending the petals to make them curl upward. You have to be patient with the paint...it takes awhile to dry. The pink center of the flower in the center was colored using the slick writer pen. This technique will be awesome for journaling blocks and then write on the block with a slick writer pen. (You can see I was playing on this sheet...but I learned not to use the Distress Inks to stamp with...they don't dry!)
Anyway, it's something new and fun to play with and the sky's the limit with transparencies!

Awesome work where did you take the class!
THAT IS TO COOL!!!!!!! now does the transparency have shiny smooth side and a rough not so shiny side? of so which side did you stamp on?
Jane-at my LSS.
Christina-the Inkjet ones have a rough side that helps the inkjet ink adhere to it. The copier ones are smooth on both sides. You can stamp on either side for both (the StazOn sticks and dries fairly quickly!)
