.....Meet THUNDER!

I changed the music per DH's request and thought I'd introduce the world to THUNDER! We affectionately call the newly added Volvo THUNDER!

On another note...I'm highly annoyed...the only thing that I hate worse than spiders is having a MOUSE IN MY HOUSE! (problem with living in the country...). I first heard it about an hour ago...the scratching near where they drilled the hole for my satellite modem. I went to set a trap and do you know by the time I got back into my office the stupid mouse had gotten inside and had gotten into my supply closet. This is NOT a good thing...I HATE to clean up mouse mess. I opened the closet and saw him running up the bookcase (think FABRIC and other stuff I don't want the mouse to tear up...I keep lots of s'book supplies in there too.) I screamed. Emma screamed then I said a long string of very very bad words that I'm not really proud of saying. Something about his momma.... SO, I put the trap just inside the closet door and closed the closet door. I PRAY that he is hungry. I can hear him digging around there as I type this and it is making me CRAZY! NUTS. That is the only thing about living in the country...the field mice!...I've only had one other mouse in the house and I thought I was going to lose my mind before I got that little you know what out... Why hasn't he gone for the trap? I LONG to hear that SNAP! indicating his little head has been smashed.. My luck the stupid mouse doesn't like peanut butter and crackers. I might as well get ready to clean out the closet (sigh) ...

Update...I now have TWO mice in the house...I'm going to lose my mind if they have babies! It's not like it's real far at this point for me to go... haha!

Further, Bassets do NOT make good mousers-all they care about is the food in the trap. My two came in here and proceeded to find the trap with the peanut butter and now won't leave the closet doors..they are even fighting about who gets to lie there to protect the p-nut butter......
